Action Medical Research - Project Grant

Supports research which focuses on child health to include problems affecting pregnancy, childbirth, babies, children and young people. Emphasis is on clinical research or research at the interface between clinical and basic science. This call also includes joint funding opportunities with Borne, DEBRA and Cystic Fibrosis Trust in areas specific to their remit.

Asthma UK - Innovation Grants

Smaller awards designed to allow for the exploration of original ideas in inherently novel priority asthma research areas and to stimulate innovation in asthma science.

BMA Foundation - Medical Research Grants

Provides funding to encourage and further medical research in a variety of areas. Applications are invited from doctors and research scientists and can be for either research in progress or prospective research.

Brain Research UK - PhD studentships

Intended to enable outstanding graduates to gain the necessary skills and training to set them on course for the development of an independent career in one of their three priority research areas, or to support clinicians entering a clinical academic career pathway focused on one of these areas.

European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) - Research Grant

This is a new research grant by ESPID and INOPSU to support infection surveillance across two or more European countries and aims to facilitate infection surveillance research in Europe by ESPID researchers.
