Starter grants for Clinical Lecturers. Provides support to early-career research-active clinical scientists who are at key career transition points, to gather data to strengthen their bids for longer-term fellowships and funding.
Supports research which focuses on child health to include problems affecting pregnancy, childbirth, babies, children and young people. Emphasis is on clinical research or research at the interface between clinical and basic science.
Applications are invited from medical graduates, clinicians, bioengineers, research nurses, physiotherapists and allied health professionals who wish to train in research techniques and methodology which will lead to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.
To enable the purchase of otherwise unavailable equipment necessary for A-T related research.
Funding or contribution to PhD studentships or research fellowships.
Full or partial funding for particular research projects.
Small grants to cover support or administrative costs to enable research to be carried out, written up or disseminated.
Support projects working to make a real difference to children and young people's lives.
Support projects where a relatively small amount of money can make a big difference for children and young people experiencing disadvantage.
Funding for UK-registered medical practitioners for either research in progress or prospective paediatric research.
