To develop new or improved simple for patients, quick, inexpensive, minimally-invasive, safe and accurate diagnostic products/approaches which can differentiate between lung conditions, phenotypes of individual lung conditions and/or causes of exacerbations (e.g. to reduce exacerbations and the winter NHS burden).

Bone Cancer Research Trust - clinical trials top-up scheme

Providing additional support for ongoing clinical trials. The trial may be observational or interventional and can be oncology or surgical. Bone Cancer Research Trust - Osteosarcoma Restricted Funding Call

Particularly welcome proposals that build on previously funded BCRT work, with a clear line of sight to patient benefit. Bone Cancer Research Trust - The Hamilton Family Programme of Osteosarcoma Research

We are seeking proposals for funding for a programme of osteosarcoma research that are hypothesis driven and with the potential of bringing a step-change in treatment for osteosarcoma. Applications must be from a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team and show a clear line of sight to patient benefit.

BSPGHAN / GUTS UK - Joint Research Awards

Provides financial support for the collection of pilot or proof-of-concept data. Applications are invited from clinician and scientist investigators, including Academic Clinical Lecturers, based at a UK university or hospital planning research studies on any topic within paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.
