Research funding opportunities

These aim to build research links between hospitals and universities in developing countries and UK universities or NHS Trusts, with the goal of building research capacity. Awarded to enable applicants from developing countries with a colleague or mentor in the UK to work together to develop a research project.

Comic Relief primarily makes grants to create long term change, to help achieve a world where everyone is safe, healthy, educated and empowered. Funding is allocated under four programme areas - investing in children and young people, empowering women and girls, improving health and wellbeing and building stronger communities.

Funds projects which address the issues, needs and aspirations of local communities and people - aimed at developing skills, improving health, revitalising the local environment and enabling people to become more active citizens.
