Safeguarding - available learning resources

Learning opportunities and guidance for paediatricians and other child health professionals in the complex and sensitive area of safeguarding.

About

We work to protect children from harm by providing doctors with the essential competencies required in their child protection practice. Child protection continues to evolve, with particular changes in knowledge and focus occurring in the last 10 years. As a result there is a necessity for updating and further training in child protection matters.

These courses are not mandatory but have been developed in line with the Safeguarding children and young people: roles and competences for health care staff Intercollegiate document (2014) and can support your continuing professional development.
