Digital Platform Commercial Manager

This is an exciting role within the College and will be critical to developing the College’s Digital Platform known as Paediatric Care Online UK. Helping to deliver online advice and guidance to support all those providing front line medical care for children and young people.

Hours: 35 Hours per Week

Salary Range: Grade 6, £37,872 - £46,076 per annum
Location: 5 – 11 Theobalds Road, Holborn, London, WC1X 8SH

In this role you will:

  • Work within the Business Development Division to ensure the platform reaches its maximum potential        
  • Manage and develop the digital platform’s licensing operation to reach its maximum income for reinvestment
  • Ensure the operation runs smoothly and that targets are reached
  • Drive sales and marketing of the Paediatric Care Online Digital Platform, developing relationships with potential sponsors and subscribing organisations
  • Manage all content updates made to the self-service pages of the platform

Your skills will include:

  • Proven sales/marketing management skills and experience evidenced by a recent and successful track record in a relevant role
  • Analytical, business orientated, with the capability of negotiating at senior levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to motivate, influence and gain the support of others and to have effective collaborative working relationships

Your experience:

  • Well developed experience and knowledge of online platforms and their development
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of managing the subscription/licensing of a digital product
  • A keen commercial sense, and knowledge of the latest trends in marketing including developments in digital media
  • Proven sales/marketing experience involving other stakeholders and external organisations in the healthcare sector
  • Experience in the commissioning of contracts including negotiation and management of successful delivery
