Update: March 2026
We understand that the NHS centrally has made the decision to stop the MTI scheme from 1 April 2026. We are seeking further information and will update more on this page when possible.
Please read through the eligibility criteria in our guidance for applicants. If you have any questions about eligibility please contact us on mtip@rcpch.ac.uk.
Once you have confirmed your eligibility, you can apply for the posts below. You will need to include your CV, English language test scores, and a cover letter. Your cover letter should include:
- why you want to apply for this post
- how you think the training would benefit you and your patients in your home country
- your experience in the relevant area of paediatrics (particularly if there is sub-specialty exposure).
MTI(p) posts
You do not need to apply for these roles to enter the MTI scheme. The majority of MTI placements come about through applicants securing positions via searching on NHS Jobs or the BMJ job board. Again, see our guidance for applicants for more information.
There are currently no open posts.
