Fellowships and prizes

We are pleased and honoured to offer the following awards. We present many at RCPCH Conference each year.
Professor Andrew Bush receives the James Spence Medal from Dr Camilla Kingdon, RCPCH President 2021-24

Professor Bush’s work as a translational researcher has produced a vast number of works, and his position within a number of institutes has raised more than £70 million in peer review grants and donations.

The citation for his nomination states: "Andy has taught and inspired a generation of paediatricians, with more than 50 now occupying senior clinical and academic positions. His highly valuable clinical contributions as a second opinion have provided trust in challenging clinical cases and sensitive communication with the families involved."
