Emeritus Professor Jo Sibert OBE has led the Academic Department of Child Health in Cardiff with great distinction. His contribution to the health of the children of Wales is extensive, as general paediatrician, inaugural Professor of Community Child Health and more recently Professor of Child Health and Head of Department. He has made an enormous contribution to paediatric research and is an international expert in child protection.
He has led with great distinction the RCPCH for Wales in a number of capacities, most recently as the Officer for Wales and is an academic and physician of the highest order.
