All members are welcome to join Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 26 March at 12:00 (noon) in Birmingham or via a livestream. It will receive reports on College activities over the last year and hand over the Presidency.
Whether you can help the College champion child protection, run invited reviews or represent the voice of trainees, we have some wonderful volunteering opportunities. Plus two new International Officer roles!
Our new report presents findings from services responsible for conducting child protection medical assessments. It shows positive national results in many areas, but a need to better protect our safeguarding workforce.
Dr Emily Parker is one of our new Clinical Fellows with the Clean Air Fund Partnership, and in her first blog, she describes how doctors are taking a more critical look at the impact of air pollution on children's health.
We hope you can join us on 25-27 March for our major event. With the input of more than 35 specialty groups, inspiring speakers and practical workshops, you can update your knowledge on what matters to you.
We partner with The BMJ on two leading, peer-reviewed scientific publications focused on child health in the UK and around the world: Archives of Disease in Childhood and BMJ Paediatrics Open. See the latest articles here.
Archives of Disease in Childhood
One of the leading paediatric journals in the world, ADC focuses on all aspects of child health and disease. All RCPCH members now receive online access to ADC, and can subscribe to the print editions for an additional £35 per year.
Our peer-reviewed, open access journal showcases research, clinical reviews and protocols on any aspect of child health from healthcare professionals across the world. It publishes any clinically relevant paper that is ethically and scientifically sound, and RCPCH members get a discount on the publishing charge.
