A medical student at Imperial College London, Iman is passionate about improving child well-being in her role on the Alumni Advisory Board at the Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation, providing her with the opportunity to advocate for disadvantaged young people.
She strives to champion for her community, which is evident in her founding the Islamic Society and People of Colour Society at school. While managing a project helping to upskill 100 young people at a youth centre, Iman was able to appreciate the interplay between education, socioeconomic status and health in young people. In her spare time, she is an avid rock climber and enjoys reading. She commits herself to appreciate the inclusive RCPCH values.
In January 2025, Iman and her fellow Youth Trustee Taona Makunganya chatted with RCPCH &Us about their roles and motivations. Listen below or wherever you get your podcasts, and find out more on our RCPCH &Us Podcasts website.
