Professor Judith Ellis MBE was the Chief Executive of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health from 2014 to 31 May 2018.
She is Honorary Professor of Nursing at London South Bank University where she was previously the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Care.
Judith worked for three years as the Nursing Officer for Quality at the Department of Health, spent eight years as Director of Nursing and Workforce Development at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and was for five years a Council Member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Judith was awarded the MBE in 1998 for services to Paediatrics.
