Milestones magazine for members: Our anniversary – summer 2026

We’re celebrating the College’s anniversary as well as looking back at another successful annual conference and shining a light on a few of our award winners. However, we’re also looking forward with a focus on the evolving nature of training.

Contributors to this issue highlight the importance of post-training support and detail how an integrated care post can assist trainees to competently transition into consultant roles. We also explore the topic of less than full-time (LTFT), revealing how it’s redefined the traditional training experience. In addition, perspectives from colleagues who’ve navigated out-of-programme training offer valuable reflections and outline the skills gained through their roles.

Alongside training, we turn our attention to the increasingly relevant topic of screen time and the impact of digital technology, hear from RCPCH &Us about how we can help children and young people navigate the healthcare system, and share an inspiring retirement story.
