Paediatric patient safety partnership RCPCH-NIHR SafetyNet - webinar recording 2025

RCPCH and NIHR Patient Safety Research Collaboration Network, SafetyNet, co-hosted this webinar on World Patient Safety Day on 17 September 2025. Experts such as Dr Peter Lachman considered the challenges in paediatric patient safety and how to respond to them. We also gave an overview of how both organisations are tackling this topic and potential themes for future research and quality improvement work.

This webinar was co-hosted by Jonathan Bamber, Head of Quality Improvement at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and Dr Adam Sutherland, Associate Professor in Quality & Safety in Healthcare at University of Bradford School of Pharmacy, Optometry and Medical Sciences, and a Research Associate with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Patient Safety Research Collaboration (known as SafetyNet).
