Trainees - volunteering opportunities

Trainees play a vital role in the College as volunteers. They feed the views of trainee members into different workstreams of the College, and as such the RCPCH always welcomes positions for trainees across different committees and networks.

We have vacancies for trainees on the Trainees Committee, Training and Quality Board and Membership Committee.

The Trainee Committee is made up of representatives from the UK and Ireland who are currently paediatric trainees and who work with and inform the Trainee Committee Executive (the responsible committee bringing together strands of activity across the College on assessment, ePortfolio, exams, recruitment and EDI) on matters of relevance to trainees and to the College. This committee currently has regional vacancies in the North East

The Examinations Board is responsible for developing and implementing all strands of training and assessment for UK Paediatric training. There is an opportunity for a Trainee Representative on this Board

The Trainee Research Network supports regional paediatric research networks, with a UK wide infrastructure, providing opportunities for paediatric trainees to research and provide peer support and guidance. There are multiple regional vacancies for this network

The Trainee Committee Executive (TCE) is currently looking for a Vice Chair. The TCE forms a vital part of the work of the College, representing trainee views and voices on issues of service and training as well as feeding into the wider work of the College.
