
The Trainee Committee is looking for Regional Representatives for the South West (Severn) region, as well as Wessex. The Trainee Committee is made up of representatives from the UK and Ireland who are currently paediatric trainees and who work with and inform the Trainee Committee Exec (the responsible committee bringing together strands of activity across the College on assessment, ePortfolio, exams, recruitment and EDI) on matters of relevance to trainees and to the College.
The Trainee Committee Executive and Trainee Committee is seeking a Curriculum and ePortfolio Representative to triangulate the views of trainees on curriculum, RCPCH ePortfolio and assessment strategies. The Trainee Committee Executive provides vital representation and advice to the RCPCH, focusing on key areas such as recruitment, training, assessment, and the professional development of paediatricians.
The Trainee Research Network (TRN) is looking for a number of Regional Representatives. The TRN was created to support the set-up of regional trainee networks. The aim of the UK-wide infrastructure brings regional networks together and provide opportunities for trainees to undertake research. There are currently vacancies in the following regions:
- South West - Severn
- Kent, Surrey and Sussex
- North West - Manchester
The Scotland Child Protection Sub Committee is seeking a Trainee Representative to be the link between the Committee and Paediatric trainees, representing trainee views as well as promoting the Committees work with trainees and ensuring trainees are informed about events and training opportunities in Child Protection.
The College Specialty Advisory Committees (CSACs) supervise the development and delivery of sub-specialty training. We are seeking a trainee representative in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
