Your membership in the South of England

Each member is represented on RCPCH Council by an Officer in their UK or international region. If you work and/or live in the South of England, you can apply to be the Area Officer, and help us seek and promote the views of your colleagues on issues in paediatrics, child health and the College’s work. This page also provides information on events and networks in your local area.

Please note! This is a pilot page for the South of England. We hope to create web pages for members living in other areas of the UK and internationally.

We have 10 Areas in the UK and internationally, and as a member you are allocated to one. These are:

England: South, North (includes the north west, north east and Merseyside), East (including Yorkshire), West and London

International: Africa, Middle East, Americas, Europe & Australasia

Upcoming events

Save the date!

South-West Paediatric Club (SWPC) 2026

Come and learn and share ideas and network at the forthcoming South-West Paediatric Club meeting to be held on Wednesday 16th September, at the Engine Shed in Bristol. The organisers are arranging a day full of ‘hot topics in paediatrics’, with a focus on the symptoms and conditions that we all find challenging in our practice, and an opportunity to hear from specialists in a variety of fields. As always with SWPC, there will also be an opportunity for oral and poster presentations by trainees, as well as an evening dinner. Registrations will open soon, but please save the date and look out for further announcements!

We plan to share details of events that are open to a broad range of members in the South of England. If you know of any, get in touch!

You can also see upcoming RCPCH events and courses (many of which are online) and CPD approved courses.

Training contacts

We provide contact details for each deanery, which postgraduate doctors in training (and their supervisors) may need - see our deanery contacts page.
