Your Area Officer and how to contact
Members in East England have an Area Officer who's here to seek and promote your views on issues in paediatrics, child health and the College’s work.
Dr Kingsley Ezinmor
I am a paediatric trainee doctor (PEM GRID) with Yorkshire and Humber deanery, passionate about advocacy, education and collaborative leadership. I have several years of experience working in clinical and non-clinical settings within and outside the UK, interacting with diverse population groups and stakeholders to improve paediatric workforce training and provide optimum care for children and young people.
You can contact Kingsley (or other Geographic Officers if you live in another area) through our short form. Feel free to share your ideas and questions.
Upcoming events
We plan to share details of events that are open to a broad range of members in North England. If you know of any, get in touch!
Yorkshire Paediatric Society: Inaugural (relaunch) meeting
- When: Thursday 30 April 2026, 13:00 - 17:00
- Where: The Cloth Hall, Quebec Street, Leeds

The YPS was a 'learned society' of paediatricians from across Yorkshire that met regularly for many decades, offering academic discussion, case presentations, and social networking. We think it is time to relaunch, and this inaugural meeting is open to all paediatric clinicians in Yorkshire and Humber, including residents. The programme includes:
- Welcome lunch and drinks

- Beyond algorithms: Artificial intelligence for child-centred healthcare - Professor Paul Dimitri - Professor of Child Health Technology, University of Sheffield
- A history of paediatrics in Yorkshire - Dr Chris Day, Neonatologist, Bradford Royal Infirmary
- Election of Officers
- Optional dinner: 18:00 - 20:00 (not included in ticket price)
Book your ticket to the YPS meeting
For queries or to express an interest in joining the YPS committee, email Dr Jonathan Darling at j.c.darling@leeds.ac.uk.
You can also see upcoming RCPCH events and courses (many of which are online) and CPD approved courses.

We provide contact details for each deanery, which postgraduate doctors in training (and their supervisors) may need - see our deanery contacts page.
