Lizzie joined the College in 2023 and leads teams across policy, external affairs, membership and engagement.
The Membership, Policy and External Affairs division leads on engaging external audiences and members to achieve impact aligned to the College’s strategic priorities. The division is responsible for advocacy, policy and media across all four nations, the College’s annual conference and other flagship events, membership operations and engagement and content across all communications channels.
Lizzie’s career spans 15 years across mainly health sector organisations and has been focused on engaging and supporting professionals, leading teams in advocacy and communications at the Royal College of Nursing and the Fire Brigades Union. Prior to this Lizzie worked in Westminster and for a health regulator.
