We use cookies and analytics on this website to gather information about visitor behavior. Below we explain how we use these cookies and analytics.

Cookies

When you first open the RCPCH website, we will ask for your consent to use cookies.

Cookies are small data files on the hard drive of your computer that collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information.

We use persistent cookies. This means the information is used to help to remember settings (eg your name and preferences), so you don't have to re-enter them whenever you visit a new page. This will remain in place until they expire or until you disable or delete them. We also use them to track visitor use of the website to compile statistical reports on website activity so we can measure how the website is used and make any improvements.

We will not use cookies to collect any personal identifiable data about you nor information about other sites you have visited.

You can set your browser not to accept cookies and you can also disable them in all major browsers. However, in a few cases some of our website features may not function as a result. For details on how to do this, please see aboutcookies.org.

rcpch.ac.uk currently uses first party cookies that track your logged in status, a load balancer cookie which helps distribute tasks of the site uses multiple servers, and records whether a user has javascript enabled on their browser which is used to alter functionality depending on whether or not it is enabled.
