Vice Presidents

The VP for Education and Workforce leads on our approach to educational resources, including courses, eLearning and continuing professional development, plus our national and global conferences.

The VP for Training and Assessment will guide the implementation of our assessment review and work with colleagues to ensure that curricula, examinations and training pathways remain effective, fair and sustainable for future paediatricians.

Represent the views of members in your area, help deliver RCPCH strategy and support our children and young people's engagement programme, RCPCH &Us. Recruiting in London and South England.

Lead engagement with members across Scotland, stakeholders and the Scottish Government. You'll have a high level of interaction with MSPs, senior health and social care leaders and other medical colleges.

We're also recruiting for the senior Officer in Wales, to lead engagement with members and key stakeholders, including the Welsh Government, members of the Senedd, officials and leaders across health and social care.

The Early Years Campaign is our new UK‑wide initiative launching in 2026, which will strengthen the College’s policy, advocacy and campaign work to improve outcomes for children from birth to age of five.

The CSACs supervise the development and delivery of sub-specialty training. We have vacancies in in allergy, immunology and infectious diseases, hepatology, nephrology, neurodisability, oncology and rheumatology.

Our Invited Reviews Programme provides a clinically-led expert and independent peer review service to healthcare organisations, assuring patient safety and improving and sustaining the quality of care. Recruiting a doctor peer reviewer representative.

Seeking regional representatives for our LTFT training advisor network in England (Surrey and Sussex, Mersey, North West, Severn, Thames Valley) and Scotland.

We run three theory exams for our membership exam (MRCPCH) and Diploma of Child Health, and use a modified Angoff method to set standards. We're recruiting Angoff Panel Judges and a Deputy Theory Lead.

We're seeking an Officer, and Assistant Officer, for Training and Quality to lead on paediatric training, curricula and assessments, ensuring high standards and effective support for trainees and trainers. Plus members of the Training and Quality Board.
