About this course

The two-day course has been significantly changed to emphasise more on debriefing and provide training on how to deliver virtual simulation training effectively.  
The focus on effective debriefing skills and video feedback  and also on practical tips to set up point-of-care simulation and writing and programming of the scenarios remains.

The hands on experience in small group sessions will allow participants to successfully execute their simulation sessions and significantly further their debriefing skills in a safe and supported learning environment.

  • The art of debriefing
  • The debriefing model
  • Video practise of debriefing
  • Overview of point-of-care simulation
  • Familiarisation with the simulator and simulation environment  
  • Virtual delivery of simulation training
  • Scenario writing, programming and executing

Audience

The course is aimed at paediatric and neonatal educators (Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and nurses) interested in using high or low fidelity simulations for teaching and team training.
