We welcome Terence Stephenson, our incoming Trustee

Dame Mary Marsh, Chair of the Board of Trustees welcomes Professor Sir Terence Stephenson to the Board.

We are very pleased to confirm that Terence Stephenson has been appointed as a member Trustee-elect.  He will attend the Board of Trustees from June 2020 and formally take up his post as member Trustee in December 2020.  We are delighted to welcome Terence to a new role for him at the College after his range of valued service otherwise previously, including as President.  We are grateful for him agreeing to take up the position for six months as Trustee elect.  This will help a great deal in providing continuity on the Board as the founder Trustees will all stand down at different points over the next eighteen months as their terms of office end.

Terence is currently Nuffield Professor at Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health and Co-Director of the Children’s Policy Research Unit. He was knighted for services to Healthcare and Children's Health.
