Understand how we use your baby's data
While your baby is receiving care in a neonatal unit, staff record information in an electronic patient record. This information helps staff care for your baby and supports the running of health services.
NNAP uses this information to help improve care and outcomes for babies in the future.

We also produce a poster for every neonatal unit that takes part in NNAP. These posters show how each unit is performing against selected audit measures and what actions they are taking in response to the results. You can view your unit's poster using our NNAP poster generator.
