Why have we developed this network?

We developed the Paediatric Influencing Network in spring 2026 to broaden and deepen how we hear from members, ensuring a wider range of perspectives informs our policy, media and public affairs work.

Your voice as an RCPCH member is central to our influencing with governments and decision-makers across the UK. By harnessing the expertise of members across different roles, backgrounds and career stages, we can ensure that our advocacy and campaigns better reflect the realities of paediatric practice.

Who can join?

The network is for RCPCH members only.

It is open to all membership types and career stages, including students and those who are retired from clinical practice.

We also welcome members from all parts of the world. Please note that while our policy and influencing work focuses on the UK, international members can contribute global perspectives, learn from UK approaches and apply shared insights on child health challenges within their own contexts.

Joining this network makes it easier for you to share your expertise and help influence change. If you’re looking to play a more active role in supporting paediatricians and improving child health outcomes, we encourage you to join.
