The responsibility of the Angoff Panel is to undertake Angoff standard-setting meetings for the College's three theory examinations: Foundation of Practice, Theory and Science, and Applied Knowledge in Practice. The Angoff Judge carries out preparatory work in advance of the standard setting meetings, attends Angoff meetings for College theory exams and participates in training for Judges.
The main function of the Theory Exam Committee is to oversee the development, provision, and quality assurance of the College’s three Theory examinations. The Deputy Theory Lead will be responsible to the Theory Lead and should have an oversight and understanding of the standard-setting methods employed by the College, as well as participate in Results Review Meetings to evolve the College Theory exam standards.
