Our new Trustees:

As Trustees, they will play a vital role in guiding the College’s strategic direction, ensuring strong governance and supporting our members across paediatrics and child health. We look forward to the valuable perspectives and expertise they will contribute to our mission.

Joanne Shaw, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:

I’m delighted that the College has been able to attract another strong new group of trustees, with an impressive range of skills and experience. We are fortunate to have their combined wisdom to help steer the College through a time of challenge and change. They have big shoes to fill, as we say goodbye and thank you to the exceptionally talented and dedicated colleagues whose terms have ended.

Professor Steve Turner, RCPCH President, said:

Our Board of Trustees is crucial to the running of the College, so on behalf of our members I am delighted to welcome our new member and independent trustees. Many thanks for taking on this important role. Please can I take this opportunity to thank our current and past trustees for their time, expertise and wisdom.

We extend our sincere thanks to our three outgoing Trustees - Dr Tsitsi Chawatama-Kwambana, Mr Adam Igra and Professor Sir Terence Stephenson - for their commitment, leadership, and significant contributions during their time on the Board. Their dedication has helped shape the College’s progress and supported our work for children and young people across the UK and beyond.
