Medicines for Children shortlisted for a 2018 HSJ Award

Our medicines information resource for parents and children is shortlisted for the “Optimisation of Medicines Management” category of the Health Service Journal Award, which celebrates healthcare excellence.

Medicines for Children was one of 11 projects shortlisted under the “Optimisation of Medicines Management” category, from 1500 applications across 26 categories.

The HSJ awards are one of the largest celebrations of healthcare excellence in the world, recognising and promoting the finest achievements in the NHS, and showcasing them to the service’s most influential leaders.

Andy Fox, Chair of the Medicines for Children project board, said:

To be shortlisted is a great achievement, and a fabulous acknowledgement of the work that has gone into establishing Medicines for Children over the last 10 years.

The Medicines for Children team will present to the HSJ judging panel on 11 October; winners will be announced on 21 November at a ceremony in London.
