Action Medical Research - Project Grant

Supports research which focuses on child health to include problems affecting pregnancy, childbirth, babies, children and young people. Emphasis is on clinical research or research at the interface between clinical and basic science. This call also includes joint funding opportunities with Borne, DEBRA and Cystic Fibrosis Trust in areas specific to their remit.

Action Medical Research - Research Training Fellowships

Applications are invited from medical graduates, clinicians, bioengineers, research nurses, physiotherapists and allied health professionals who wish to train in research techniques and methodology which will lead to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

Asthma and Lung UK

To develop new or improved simple for patients, quick, inexpensive, minimally-invasive, safe and accurate diagnostic products/approaches which can differentiate between lung conditions, phenotypes of individual lung conditions and/or causes of exacerbations (e.g. to reduce exacerbations and the winter NHS burden).

Bone Cancer Research Trust - Osteosarcoma Restricted Funding Call

Particularly welcome proposals that build on previously funded BCRT work, with a clear line of sight to patient benefit.
