Why paediatrics? Your thoughts

Recruitment and retention of healthcare workers is the biggest challenge the NHS faces in the next five years. In particular, this is a massive issue in terms of paediatricians of all grades. The RCPCH is therefore launching a Careers Campaign to try to identify the concerns of the workforce and to help to address these recruitment and retention problems. We must ensure that our current workforce is valued and retained, and that they then help inspire others to enter this career as role models in the future.

This short questionnaire is intended as a snapshot covering some of the main themes we are already aware of, and to identify any others that may be important. It will help to start the conversation with our members.

More surveys and focus groups are planned, some aimed at more specific groups. Do let us know if you want to be more involved in the campaign, either by ticking the box at the bottom of this form or emailing us at Careers.Campaign@rcpch.ac.uk.

Please complete by 30 June. Your help is much appreciated!
