You'll act as a key point of contact for prospective applicants to specialist registration via the Portfolio Pathway, helping develop and improve guidance and training and enhancing the overall application experience. We have opportunities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

More about this role

Applicants to this opportunity must be consultants in the UK health services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organise or contribute to at least one regional Portfolio Pathway workshop each year, in collaboration with your Trust or network
  • Act as a mentor and facilitator, helping supervisors and aspirants bridge gaps in understanding Portfolio Pathway
  • Participate in assessment panels to support the College's timely review of applications
  • Assist the Portfolio Pathway Lead to deliver online or face-to-face sessions for aspirants
  • Contribute to publications or resource development as needed, and provide a short report on regional activity every six months
  • Play a key role in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, helping to ensure the pathway is accessible and effective for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and all aspirants
