This annual event is for academic trainees (resident doctors) and trainees with prior research experience.
Last November, our Academic Trainee Day 2025 looked at four key areas: understanding research infrastructure, exploring research methodologies, opportunities for research collaborations; and learning how to effectively utilise research tools. Our plenaries and workshops - which included breakout rooms and activities - covered topics such as multi-centre research, study design, large datasets, clinical trial units and examples of research projects.
