England Area Officers - volunteering opportunity

England Area Officers represent the views of members in their area across the College, including Council. The College is currently looking for England Area Officers for East, London, West, North and South.

The England Area Officers work within a number of areas of the College and part of their role includes actively participate in developing RCPCH strategy and the delivery of work plans; attending meetings with the College Registrar, sitting on the Council and work with RCPCH&Us. 

This role will work with different stakeholders, including Ambassadors, Regional Trainee Representatives, SAS Representatives and other Area Officers. Please note this role description may be subject to some change as our work on local presence and membership engagement evolves.

We are looking for representatives in the regions below:

  • London
  • East: East and Yorkshire and Humberside
  • South: Kent, Surrey & Sussex, Thames Valley, South West and Wessex
  • West: West and East Midlands
  • North: North West, North East and Mersey

What happens next - election

If more than one application is received, a vote by electronic ballot will be held after the close of applications.

Those eligible to receive the voting information will be Fellows, Senior Fellows, Ordinary Members, Senior Members and Honorary Fellows whose primary postal address registered with the College is in the appropriate region.
