External Assessors to submit availability - Summer 2026 ARCP reviews

About

The role of an external assessor (EA) is to act as a critical friend to the Annual Review of Competence of Progression (ARCP), to ensure the process is fair and reliable across regional panels.

The expectation is that EAs remotely attend at least one or two ARCP panels or one externality/GMC-triggered visits each year in a different region than their own. EAs also complete and return an assessor report to the College as part of the 10% representation via the Gold Guide.
