NPDA Annual Conference 2026

The National Paediatric Diabetes Audit (NPDA) Annual Conference brings together staff from all professional groups working in diabetes and other stakeholders to learn how NPDA data has been used to improve services and inform best practice in diabetes management.

This NPDA Annual Conference is a free hybrid event, offering the opportunity to attend either in person or online.

The 2026 theme focuses on health inequalities, early-stage Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and poverty proofing.

Overview

The NPDA collects information on the care and outcomes of children and young people with diabetes across England, Wales and Jersey. The audit supports paediatric diabetes units to monitor performance, share learning, and improve care quality and outcomes.

The NPDA Annual Conference is open to all professionals and stakeholders involved in paediatric diabetes care and research. This includes paediatric diabetes multidisciplinary teams (consultants, nurses, dietitians, psychologists and administrators), regional network leads, commissioners, data analysts, and representatives from patient organisations.

This event provides a great opportunity to explore the latest NPDA findings, share good practice, and hear from leading experts from the UK and internationally.

You can also view presentations and recordings from previous NPDA Annual Conferences to explore highlights from past events.
