UK-WHO growth charts - childhood and puberty close monitoring (CPCM)

Published in June 2013, this is a modification of the main school age chart for use in children with growth or nutritional problems and will be ideal for use in specialist clinics and special schools.

These and all growth charts are based on WHO Child Growth Standards, which describe the optimal growth for healthy, breastfed children.

The CPCM chart extends to age 20 years and features:

  • body mass index (BMI) chart
  • low and high lines to monitor unusually short, thin or overweight children
  • puberty phase specific thresholds to assess - small children with late onset of puberty, and tall children with early onset of puberty
  • Tanner stage graphs to assess detailed progress of puberty.
