National Paediatrics Diabetes Audit

We work with UK hospitals to measure the health outcomes and experiences of children with diabetes. Our findings and recommendations from 2016-17 will soon be available, and we've started collecting more data.
While there is continued variation in outcomes and care between hospitals, there have been continuing national improvements in numbers of children and young people with diabetes achieving optimal diabetes management and in the provision of recommended health checks.
We ask doctors and nurses to record data to show how many children and young people in their clinic have received the recommended health checks for diabetes, and how are they managing their diabetes in terms of their treatment, HbA1c and hospital admissions.
NPDA Results Online is a new resource to help you view and compare results across the country. We developed it in response to consultations with the paediatric diabetes community. See some tips on how to use it, or download our user guide.
