Case studies for children and young people's engagement

Are you a paediatrician in the community, an acute setting or a specialist service? Are you a nurse, allied healthcare professional in a local surgery, hospital, community setting or working one-to-one with children and young people and want to know more about engagement, participation or involving patients in service design or evaluation? You may find these case studies useful.

Working in partnership with the Young People’s Health Special Interest Group (YPHSIG), these resources will support Not Just A Phase (2010), our guide on engagement and involvement in child health services.

The case studies below were collated for the RCPCH Conference 2017 to provide examples of engagement practice across the UK. They are from a range of settings and organisations including health, acute, community and voluntary sector.
