As the College’s senior representative in Scotland, the Officer for Scotland will lead strategic engagement with members, stakeholders and the Scottish Government. This high-profile role involves regular interaction with MSPs, senior health and social care leaders, and other medical colleges.
The Officer for Scotland will contribute to national policy development and ensure paediatrics is strongly represented across Scotland. They will chair Scotland Executive Committee and sit on the College’s Council and Policy and Advocacy Executive, providing leadership and a consistent voice for children and young people.
Applicants must be nominated by two RCPCH Fellows, Ordinary Members, Senior Members or Honorary Fellows resident in Scotland and whose primary mailing address is in the Scotland.
