On 17 June 2019, more than 150 health professionals working in support of paediatric epilepsy services and patient organisation representatives came together at the second Epilepsy12/OPEN UK National Conference with the aim of learning from each other and improving the care offered to children and young people with epilepsies. Watch our highlights video for a snapshot of the day and access posters and presentations from the conference, below.

The conference was chaired by Dr Sophia Varadkar and included a young people-led symposium, keynote speaker and related Q&A session, Epilepsy12 updates and a quality improvement (QI) showcase session with associated QI poster displays. The conference also marked the launch of the RCPCH Epilepsy Quality Improvement Programme (EQIP).
