National Paediatric Diabetes Audit

We work with UK hospitals to measure the health outcomes and experiences of children with diabetes.
While there is variation in outcomes and care between hospitals, there have been national improvements in the numbers of children with diabetes achieving optimal diabetes management and in the provision of recommended health checks.

NPDA Results Online helps you view and compare results across the country. We developed it in response to consultations with the paediatric diabetes community. See some tips on how to use it, or download our user guide.
We are now accepting data for the 2019-20 audit year. You can download the current dataset, templates for submitting data via CSV and questionnaire and user guides, as well as the clinical lead sign-off form and privacy notice.

We are running patient and parent experience measure surveys (PREMs) to understand the perspectives and experiences of children and young people and their families about their diabetes care. These are available online in English, Welsh, Polish, Urdu and Punjabi.
